Dear David, I saw a jazz cd labeled "Monster Jazz" at a store selling audio equipment. I really liked what was playing so I looked at the cd to see who was playing. Guess what?! It was you -- David Garfield. I was so excited that I actually knew you! I am going to order a cd from you (Tribute to Jeff). Why don't you perform in Mpls the next time you see your sister Joan and her family? I also live in the Twin Cities and met you a few years ago when Joan's twins were graduating. I am close friends with your sister Ann and we grew up together in Omaha. Anyway, thank you for making such wonderful music. My son Andy plays drums in his band, the "Metrodomes" while he's going to school at the University of MN. I know he would love to see you perform! The Dakota is a great place for jazz performers; Also, the Northrup Jazz Group sponsers jazz performers. We went to hear Dave Holland a month ago and I'm still "high" from the concert! The marimba and vibraphone were incredible, along with the rest of the band. So please think about playing in Mpls! It would be awesome! Take care, Ann Musselman Uzendoski
